Orange Bros Circus
(1925,1926,1935)

    William "Lucky Bill" Newton Sr. who along with his son "Honest Bill" had overland shows for over 30 years. They sometimes used titles like Orange Bros, Moon Bros and even Walter L Main in their final years. They had at least one elephant from 1911 on. In 1927 Honest Bill had two males "Tex" and "Little Diamond" while Moon Bros had the female "Jap."  Newton's last elephant was a gentle old cow named "Rosie" who became Ben Davenport's fist elephant in 1940 for his Dailey Bros. Circus.
