trunk while his family was on tour, and learned stage technique long before
ohter children were learning their nursery rhymes.

My grandfather's name was Timberlake. It was a good name and he liked it, but my
gather found that he got along better under the name SIlverlake. My sister,
Florence, and I began as Silverlakes, but the name was soon shortened to Lake,
because it took up less space on a theatre marquee.
